Testimony for a Palestinian Graduate in Beirut

'I want to offer my condolences to the Lebanese American University. Not because they have lost someone, but because they have lost their principles and educational mission. Proudly, I offer my condolences to him and offer a cup of pride for myself. It was my fault when I decided to learn in such a university that does not recognize the Palestinian right to work in Lebanon. How dare I graduated from this university that accepts me to be a part of their family, but the moment they saw my ID, they reversed their decision ?! And they said it without shame !! We don't accept Palestinians. Nothing more to say. Thank you LAU. Thank you for giving me a priceless diploma. Thank you for accepting me to learn and refusing me to work.'
